As Episcopalians, we trace our spiritual roots across the Atlantic Ocean to England, where Christianity has a rich yet complicated history that includes sacrifice and courage, failure and triumph, schism and reconciliation, and a beautiful tradition of sacramental and prayerful worship. This pilgrimage in June of 2026 will take us to England to explore our spiritual ancestry in the birthplace of English Christianity and Anglicanism. Highlights include time spent at Southwark Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral, Coventry Cathedral, and more, with the pilgrimage culminating in the celebration of the Feast of Saint Alban the Martyr at St Alban’s Cathedral, including a parade, Eucharist, and local festival. Pilgrims can expect to return home with a deeper appreciation for our Anglican heritage, a stronger connection to Alban, our parish’s patron saint, and a renewed faith in Jesus Christ, not to mention closer relationships with one another. Itinerary is representative and is subject to change based on guide and site availability.
Pilgrims may choose to arrive early or stay longer to explore London or beyond on your own.
Airfare is not included in your pilgrimage. Participants will depart no later than today to arrive in London on Tuesday, June 16 by 2:00pm at the hotel.
The pilgrimage begins with opening reflections and worship at 2:00pm. After our gathering, we’ll tour St. Paul’s Cathedral, concluding our visit with the choral evensong service. A welcome dinner is included.

Today, we will participate in the St. Alban Day pilgrimage and festival. St. Alban Day begins with the Alban Pilgrimage Procession from St Peter’s Church, weaving through the city to St. Albans Cathedral Orchard with 12-foot puppets: a dramatic, visual retelling of St. Alban’s story for all ages. After the parade, there will be the celebration of the Eucharist, a festival, and evensong. Dinner on your own.

Coventry Cathedral is an enduring symbol of resurrection and reconciliation, a mission adopted following the cathedral’s bombing during World War Two. We’ll arrive in Coventry in time for the Cathedral Eucharist service (10:30am) followed by lunch (included), a tour of the Cathedral Church, and a visit with the Cathedral staff to learn about their ministry in the world today.
